Technical skills:
– Provide technical leadership to the development squad while remaining hands-on
– Guide architecture, design and implementation decisions
– Support the Azure cloud transition and application lifecycle evolution
– Ensure code quality and engineering best practices: Clean Code, SOLID, TDD, automation, scalability and reliability
– Lead technical reviews, troubleshooting and resolution of complex production issues
– Manage technical debt and technical risks
– Mentor developers and support knowledge sharing within the team
– Work closely with Product, QA, architects, DBAs and teams in Paris
– Play a key role in the Collect.Online data migration and in preparing both applications for support and decommissioning phases
– Higher Education in Engineering, Computer Science or IT
– Strong experience in C# .NET development, ideally 9+ years
– Previous technical leadership or mentoring experience
– Experience with .NET Framework 4.8+ and .NET 8+
– Strong knowledge of software architecture, Clean Code, SOLID and TDD
– Experience with SQL Server/Azure SQL, Git, Gitflow and Azure DevOps
– Experience with Azure services such as Azure Pipelines, Repos, Blob Storage, App Service and App Configuration
– Experience with Jira and Confluence
– Experience with the full application lifecycle, including production support
– Banking, payments or fintech experience is a strong advantage
Personal skills:
– English B2 minimum – mandatory
– Portuguese B2 minimum - nice to have
– Strong communication and problem-solving skills
– Autonomous, pragmatic and comfortable working in an international Agile environment
– Able to lead through technical expertise and collaboration, while remaining a strong team player
