This privacy policy explains what we do with personal data. It describes how we collect, use and process it. In this way we show how we comply with our legal obligations with regard to the processing of personal data.

Your privacy is important to QuickOps Consulting, so we have processes dedicated to protecting your personal data.

  1. Who collects your personal data and who is responsible for processing it?

The processing of personal data collected by QuickOps Consulting, or that is provided to it, is the responsibility of Quickops Consulting, Ltd., with the sole number of legal entity and registration in the Commercial Register Conservatory 516168959 with headquarters at Rua Júlio Dinis, 728, 7º 4050-012 Porto.

  1. How is your personal data collected and what kind of data is collected?

Please be advised that you are not required to provide QuickOps Consulting, Lda with your personal information, but if you choose not to, we may not be able to provide you with our services, manage your application or answer any questions you may have.

QuickOps may collect your personal data in various ways, including when you send us unsolicited applications, register on university employment platforms, job fairs, references from employees, former employees, partnerships with the intention of being contacted by QuickOps, enter into a contract with us (employment, service or other), fill out your customer profile, or communicate with our teams.

If you are a candidate, in order for us to identify and match you with the best job opportunities, we need to process certain information about you.  

We only request information that will be relevant to us, such as name, age, contact details, education information, employment history, immigration status, financial information (where we need to carry out financial background checks), tax and social security number. Where appropriate, and in accordance with the law, we may also collect information or miscellaneous data about any criminal convictions.

If you are a QuickOps client, we need to collect and use information about you or about people in your company in connection with our provision of services, in order to provide you with the most comprehensive service possible and to properly carry out our contractual relationship.

If you are a supplier, we need some information about your personal data to make sure that everything works properly. We need contact details of certain people in your company so that we can communicate with you, as well as other information that someone in your company has chosen to share with us.

When we refer to suppliers we mean to include any companies (including sole traders) and non-standard service providers, such as independent contractors and self-employed individuals, who provide services to QuickOps. In certain circumstances, QuickOps will subcontract the services you provide to customers to third party suppliers who perform the services on QuickOps' behalf. In this context, suppliers who are sole traders, self-employed or employees of suppliers will be treated as candidates for data protection purposes. Please note that in this context, QuickOps requires suppliers to communicate the relevant parts of this Privacy Policy (in particular the sections dealing with applicants) to their employees.

Certain categories of personal data, such as data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a person, data concerning health or data concerning sex life or sexual orientation are classified as "special categories of personal data" and benefit from additional protection under the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"). QuickOps limits as far as possible the circumstances in which it collects and processes these special categories of data and only does so when you have given your consent. In order to provide our users with more timely and personalized services, QuickOps may use a browser feature called "cookies" which allows QuickOps to customize its services and website according to your interests and needs, allowing QuickOps to streamline your future activities and your experience on the QuickOps website. In this way, data may be collected regarding parameters and settings relating to your browser, operating system and geo-location.

During part of your navigation on the QuickOps website we may also use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times.
