Technical skills:
– Expert knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF), hardware (routers, switches, firewalls), and software
– Proficiency in network security practices, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response)
– Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
– Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for network automation is a plus
