Technical skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
– At least seven years’ hands-on experience in software development, with a minimum of five years in .NET
– Proven experience as a technical leader or informal mentor within a team; direct management experience is a plus
– Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure, microservices architecture and design patterns
– Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
– Experience with frontend technologies such as React.js or Angular is a strong plus
– Experience in iOS or Android development is an advantage
– Solid understanding of security best practices for APIs and data privacy
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
– Proficiency in Agile or Scrum methodologies and commitment to driving Agile practices within the team
– Comfortable with DevOps practices, including configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow, infrastructure as code and deployment patterns
– Demonstrated success in building, developing and leading high-performance software engineering teams
– Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
– Passion for staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices, and integrating relevant learnings into the team’s workflow
Personal skills:
– Clearly communicate data insights, findings and results to internal and external stakeholders
– Able to be quickly autonomous, proactive
